The Blisset project started when the architect, the late Bob Mather,
asked Philippe to quit architecture school and work for him on what was
to turn into a 2 year project. Here, the philosophy of design was to push
every element to the outer edge of complexity. They relied
on meticulous craftsmanship to prevent the complexity from becoming overwhelming.
